IPAC Engineering Specifications

1.            Electrical Specification

The IPAC is an intelligent power monitoring and control system that has proven itself useful for everything from monitoring for faults to providing power savings for buildings and complexes.  To meet the needs of our customers, three different models are offered

  • M-Series: Measures the voltage and current of a standard AC signal and outputs the data on the Network.
  • B-Series: Measures the voltage and current and if limits are exceeded, shuts the power down.
  • I-Series: Measures the voltage and current and makes intelligent decisions based on configuration registers. In addition, can accept commands from the internet allowing prioritization of power, only keeping critical loads on when power is limited.

IPAC-M

Voltage Monitor

2 phases, independantly sampled with reference to nuetral.  RMS Calculation performed off of 1024 samples of data over 6 60Hz waveform cycles or duration of sample time .016667 seconds. 

  • Maximum voltage with Respect to Nuetral- 220 volts Peak
  • Range 10 to 150 VRMS
  • Accuracy:  ±3%
  • Response Time: 100ms

Current Monitor

2 phases, independantly sampled from voltage induced from a current transformer. 

  • Range 0 to 200 Amps RMS
  • Accuracy:  ±3%
  • Response Time: 100ms


IPAC-B

1.       Voltage Monitor
