Extreme Endeavors upgrades cave monitoring through wireless web access
Hellhole and Schoolhouse cave are now connected to the internet to allow remote downloading of data through a TCPIP connection over the internet. This upgrade allows access to the sensors without the cost of satellite time. A internet connection from down inside a valley is wirelessly routed through a small repeater tower located on a ridge top. From the repeater tower the communication link to the caves is established that allows us to access the data 24-7 over the web!
