The “Fire Coat”, as it is known, is a recently developed prototype, and will be released commercially quite soon.
Designed and tested in conjunction with both Federal Agencies and local Fire Departments, this system has had input from emergency services personnel at all levels.
Real Time data is transmitted to the Incident Commander/ Safety Officer, without interaction from the user- who may not even notice that the system is in place. We use state of the art technologies to ensure that the data collected is both accurate and useful, without interfering with the actions of the user.
The system is designed to provide the data, and ONLY the data that a firefighter / first responder is interested in, without distractions or complications. We know you need to depend on your system when the scene isn't boring.
From Lessons learned living in Antarctica and working in conditions as cold as -100Deg F, the knowledge of how to keep electronics alive during the most austere conditions, fire fighters will find this technology useful, reliable and functioning when internally fighting fires.
If you are a fire department with immediate needs please contact us to see if we can assist.
