JOB DESCRIPTION
Extreme Endeavors, a small business located in Philippi, WV, is seeking an Electrical/Computer Engineer, with an advanced degree. Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Linux based programming, sensor systems, and microwave systems are desirable. Work includes hazardous ventures, working in a small team, and making technically challenging advancements that will allow technology to fit in some of the most austere environments known. Extreme Endeavors is an engineering firm where one day you will be in charge of designing a state-of-the-art embedded system and the next you will be in the field to test the system, whether it be caves, mines, or burning buildings.

JOB DETAIL
We are seeking an Electrical and/or computer engineer with an advanced degree that has familiarity with one or more of the following:
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Linux
- Sensor systems
- Microwave systems
- Embedded systems
- Microcontrollers
- PCB Design/Layout
- C language programming
- MATLAB / Simulink
- LabVIEW
Experience in mining, firefighting, rescue, law enforcement, emergency medicine, and land/armed forces also highly desirable.
